A high-intensity, one-month sprint for Adobe. This project required dual high-stakes deliverables: directing and animating the official teaser for Photoshop’s flagship Generative AI feature—which debuted globally on the main stage during the opening keynote—and engineering a comprehensive video transitions and effects toolkit distributed to all creators at the Adobe MAX conference.
The brief for the "Fit Check" teaser was demanding: introduce Photoshop’s highly anticipated Generative AI capability to millions of creatives worldwide. To break through the noise, the motion style needed to be incredibly fast-paced, fluid, and upbeat, maintaining continual motion to keep viewers completely locked in from start to finish.Other than a baseline script and a few raw UI renders provided by the client, the visual direction, pacing, and execution of the final video were entirely self-directed.
While the teaser took care of the main stage, the second half of the project focused on empowering the community. I was tasked with building a premium toolkit of video transitions and asset templates to be distributed directly to thousands of content creators attending Adobe MAX.The core challenge? The assets had to look incredibly high-end, but remain optimized enough to run flawlessly on any creator's hardware, regardless of their technical skill level or preferred editing software.
To bridge the gap between heavy render performance and ultimate flexibility, the final library was organized into Transitions, or Title and Info cards. I engineered four unique glitch and cover-over style transition animations. To protect user playback performance, these transitions were pre-rendered and packaged into cleanly structured, well-crafted After Effects templates. The kit also featured a comprehensive suite of animated and static text titles, as well as informational cards, giving creators an all-in-one package to elevate their video style.
Operating on a strict four-week timeline required an airtight workflow. This project pushed my technical organization and creative autonomy to its absolute limit—requiring rapid-prototyping, strict adherence to Adobe's corporate brand guidelines, and immediate implementation of high-level stakeholder feedback.By delivering both a flawless, self-directed main-stage keynote asset and a bulletproof, user-optimized creator toolkit across AE and Premiere, this sprint proved that complex technical execution and premium art direction can thrive under the tightest enterprise deadlines.
